About Tour

This fascinating Go Purple Guided electric scooter Tour starts with a journey of a wonderful e-scooter ride along the costal road, right along the beach towards Wat Koh Samed. A beautiful temple with lots of history. If lucky and meet the Abbot we may find ourselves blessed and a lucky amulet for the journey to follow.

From there you’ll weave through the maze of woven streets to the White sand beach. Place our e-scooters right on the beach sand to sprint to our next stop while enjoying the sun and breeze.

After soaking up the Sun from our Beach ride we will make a stop over at the famous Piper and Mermaid statue and listen him play to “the tunes to his lover”

Next stop! Beautiful view point not even known by the locals! Top Secret!

Continue your journey towards the south side of the island with 1 stop on the way, a very secluded beach. You will feel like Robinson Crusoe! Whilst done with relaxing the next journey will lead us all the way to the furthest point where we will enjoy an hour or so of snorkeling.

Since its getting almost dark what better way than to stop on the way back for a beautiful sunset. While parked up and seated unwind and relax watching the sun fading away to rise again the next morning.

After you’ve taken in all the beach-culture and history you can it’s a short trip back to the Go Scoot Samed HQ to unwind and discuss the day’s journey with your tour group, and plenty of soft drinks, seafood BBQ or maybe even purchase a refreshing beer or two.

With a maximum of 6 people per group and a relaxed style, you’ll always have time to ask the guides questions about the things you see. The route is quite easy and suitable to people of all ages with plenty refreshment stops.

FAQ

Are bookings required?

Bookings are required due to a limited number of spaces available on the Go Black Scooter tour. 6 people per tour Max.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We do not have a cancellation policy in place since we do not take money up front to join us. However in case you do wish to cancel we would appreciate it if you could notify us at least 24 hours before the tour so that we could give your seat to others that might want to join.

Does the Go Black Scooter Tour run all year round?

Yes, this tour runs all year round. Rain or Shine and based on availability. Please contact us should you not be sure.

Where should we meet for the tour?

All tours depart from our conveniently located HQ very close to the Taksin BTS (Sky Train) station. For map and more info please click HERE

Is the Go Black tour difficult?

Since it is a half day tour there is less mileage riding this tour.

However due to some technicality along the way you should be confident on a Scooter. This tour is less strenuous than our Go Gold Tour.

What happens if it rains during the Tour?

We ride the Go Black tour rain or shine and the guide carries plenty of ponchos.

However in Bangkok it does normally not rain longer than 10-20 minutes during the rainy season.

We could stop during the rain or carry on with ponchos.

Do we stop for Dinner?

No. On the Go Black tour we do not stop for Dinner. However there are plenty of stops for snacks and drinks.

You can however order food at the HQ after the tour at one of the restaurants surrounding our HQ.

Does the tour end at the HQ?

Yes all our tours start and end at the Go Bangkok Tours HQ.

Do we go inside the sites that we visit?

Yes if possible we will enter the sites that we visit.

Are we allowed to take pictures during the Tour?

Of course you can shoot pictures or vdo’s during the tour.

Please be careful while on the scooter and taking pictures at the same time especially in the evening when dark. There are plenty of opportunities to take photos at the designated stops.

Please note that our guides carry camera’s and all group pictures taken will be shared with you after the tour.

Is there a space to keep bags and/or small luggage?

Yes we have lockable storage lockers available at the HQ in which you can store items you do not wish to take during your ride.

Please note that should you lose the key we will charge a small replacement key fee of 50,- Baht.

Can I bring my own scooter on the Go Black Tour?

You are welcome to bring your own scooter and will receive a discount of 25% of the Total Tour Price.

Do you have kids scooter and baby seats?

No we don’t.

Are safety helmets and safety lights provided during the tour?

Scooter helmets, and safety lights are provided however you are not compelled by law to wear helmets in Thailand.

For your own personal safety we do encourage you to wear a helmet on tour.

Who and how do we pay for the tour?

The Total Fee of Baht 1500 can be paid at the HQ direct.

Are drinks/snacks provided during the Go Red tour?

Yes, your guide will supply you with water/drinks and light snacks.

How is the Go Black Tour price calculated?

Each person on Tour pays Baht 1500.-

The min participants to start the tour are 2 and the max participants are 6. If you want to book for 1 do not worry. There will most likely be other participants that signed up so please go ahead and proceed with the booking.
